OCP is looking for Orientation Leaders/Assistants for the Fall. Paid positions available!

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then you may want to apply to be either an Orientation Leader (upper-class students who already have experience as a leader) or an Orientation Leader Assistant (no experience necessary - we train you!).

What will be expected of you:

100% availability and attendance from Monday, August 25th, 2008 through and including Labor Day Weekend, Monday, September 1, 2008.

For only 8 days Leaders can make $250 and Assistants can make $225. That's right - you can earn some $$$ in a very short time!

BOSTON - The Fisher College community is ready for its 104th commencement, which is being held on May 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. in Converse Hall at Tremont Temple located at 88 Tremont Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Fisher College will award associate's and bachelor's degrees to 260 graduates.

"Graduation is a culmination as much as it is a beginning. We have prepared our graduates for the world, and hope they hold fond memories of Fisher College. Speaking for all of the faculty and staff, I wish each and every one of our graduates only the very best of luck in everything they do," said Dr. Thomas M. McGovern, the College's President.

Boston Fire Commissioner Roderick Fraser will deliver the commencement address. Commissioner Fraser was appointed the 37th Commissioner of the Boston Fire Department in 2006 and leads the oldest professional fire department in the country.

He served in the United States Navy for 20 years in a variety of assignments culminating in the command of the U.S.S. UNDERWOOD. He has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal two gold stars, the Navy Achievement Medal one gold star, and numerous unit awards and commendations.

Commissioner Fraser earned a Master's in National Security Affairs and Strategic Planning from the Naval War College, a Master's in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the Maine Maritime Academy.

Joining Commissioner Fraser, President McGovern, and Dr. Nicholas Bankson, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Sarah Hamilton '04 will deliver remarks on behalf of the Fisher College Alumni Association. Upon the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates and their families will attend a banquet in Alumni Hall.
