HM410 Topics in Health Care Management
Prerequisites: HM 300 and HM 310.

The purpose of this course is to expose students in more depth to important and current topics in today’s healthcare environment. Topics covered include but not to be limited to healthcare information systems and electronic health records, basics of reimbursement systems used in acute care, ambulatory care, home health and long term care and their impact on providers, principles of performance improvement and healthcare marketing strategies.
